Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use unscroll. If you are between 16 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to request verification of age at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Choose a username that does not impersonate another person or violate any third party's rights
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us promptly at support@unscrollread.com if you suspect unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Description of Service

unscroll is a content curation platform that helps users discover and organize web content. The App provides:

Free features:

• Browse curated content
• Save content to a personal library
• Create, share, and browse collections
• Add external links to collections
• User profiles with username, display name, bio, and avatar
• Search and filter content

Premium features (unscroll+ subscription):

• Read saved content offline
• Download entire collections for offline reading
• Access editorial collections curated by unscroll
• Early access to new content
• Advanced statistics and progress tracking
• Screen blocking and focus session features (when available)

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

unscroll+ is available as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple In-App Purchase:

• Weekly: $5.99 per week
• Yearly: $59.99 per year

Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

4.2 Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for unscroll+. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate.

4.3 Billing and Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before it renews.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

"User Content" includes collections you create, external links you submit, profile information, and any other content you contribute through the App. You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

5.2 Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Contain sexually explicit material, including content involving minors
• Promote violence, hatred, discrimination, or harassment
• Include illegal content or promote illegal activities
• Infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights
• Contain spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Include personal or confidential information of others without their consent

5.3 Content Moderation

We employ automated and manual moderation systems to review User Content, including external links submitted to collections. Content that violates our standards may be removed without notice. Repeated violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent bans. See our Content Policy for details.

5.4 Reporting

You may report content or users that you believe violate these Terms using the reporting features within the App. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, code, features, branding, and original content, is owned by Titun LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

6.2 Third-Party Content

unscroll curates and links to content from third-party sources. We do not claim ownership of this content. All third-party content remains the property of its respective owners. We provide links for convenience and do not host third-party content directly.

6.3 Copyright Complaints

If you believe that content available through the App infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@unscrollread.com with the following information:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The URL or location within the App where the alleged infringement occurs
• Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

7. Collection Codes

Collections may be shared using unique alphanumeric codes. These codes are user-generated and do not represent endorsement by unscroll. We are not responsible for the content within user-created collections. We reserve the right to revoke or reassign collection codes that violate these Terms.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent moderation actions
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Submit links to malicious websites or content designed to harm users
• Circumvent or manipulate the content moderation system
• Use the App to distribute unsolicited promotions or advertisements

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the App. Grounds for action include but are not limited to:

• Submitting content that fails moderation review
• Receiving multiple user reports
• Engaging in abusive or harassing behavior
• Attempting to circumvent moderation or security measures

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your profile, collections, and associated data. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any third-party content linked through the App. You access third-party content at your own risk.

Screen blocking and focus features rely on Apple's Screen Time API and are subject to Apple's availability, permissions, and system-level limitations. We do not guarantee these features will function on all devices or iOS versions.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TITUN LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Titun LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Content Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Titun LLC regarding the App.
